Cylinder Blast Kills 2 Brothers, Mother Seriously Injured 

Hyderabad: Two brothers were killed and their mother was seriously injured after a cooking gas cylinder exploded in a house in Raigiri near Bhongir in Yadadri district, about 50km from here on Monday morning.

The deceased Venkat Reddy and Prabhakar Reddy were still in the sleep when the mishap occurred as their mother Galamma was about to light the stove for cooking. Gas leakage from the cylinder overnight could be the reason for the blast, police said. Entire village was shaken when the cylinder exploded with a huge noise, neighbors said.

The woman is undergoing treatment at Secunderabad Gandhi Hospital. DCP Yadagiri along with his team visited the spot and an investigation is underway.
