Can Botsa win back Chiranjeevi's trust?

Congress minister and PCC chief Botsa has said, “I am happy, if Chiranjeevi becomes the Chief Minister.” While talking to media in Tirupati, he added that every politician has a desire and dream to become the chief minister of the state and Chiranjeevi has all the qualities to grab the post.
His remarks have not come as a surprise for anyone. Differences between Botsa and Chief minister Kirankumar Reddy has only gone from bad to worse with the frequent ACB raids on liquor syndicates. The CM and Botsa also disagreed over the acceptance of resignations from MLAs who went on to support rebel leader Jaganmohan Reddy. The rift between them has only deepened over the time.
Interestingly, the Tollywood megastar is presently on good terms with Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy which has not gone down too well with the PCC chief.
To win back the star's trust and keep a strong hold on the party, Botsa has been frequently saying that he is happy if Chiranjeevi becomes the CM.
Botsa, who played a key role in merging of Praja Rajyam Party with the Congress, has made Chiranjeevi a puppet in his hands. Botsa had also promised Chiranjeevi that he would get him the ministry post. By now, it's quite imperative that the ultimate aim of Chiranjeevi is to clinch the ministry post. And there is no doubt the megastar has put enough pressure on the PCC chief to give him that promised chair.
Botsa’s fresh comments is an attempt to lure back Chiranjeevi which will work in his favour. The PCC chief is just aiming to grab Chiranjeevi’s attention.
This is not the first time that the PCC chief is trying to woo the film star. Botsa wanted to cash in on the popularity of the film star who had a huge fan following which is what made the PCC chief even consider the merger in the first place. Besides, both Chiranjeevi and Botsa hail from the same community.
Recently, when Botsa was in Delhi to meet the High Command, it led to a lot of speculation in the political circles. It was being said that the PCC chief went there not to discuss the bypoll results, but to talk about getting Chiranjeevi the promised berth in the Cabinet.
