Cabbie arrested for cheating by fake Gulf job offers  

Hyderabad: A cab driver Md Shakeel Ahmed (30) was arrested on Monday for duping job aspirants to the tune of Rs 6.3 lakh.

Santosh Nagar police said that the accused promised to offer employment to semi-literate people in Gulf countries and he collected money from them for his service from several victims.
Following a complaint by Syed Raoof, police arrested the accused at Phisalbanda in Santosh Nagar and filed a cheating case against him.

The officials have seized 17 passports and a Mahindra Logan car from the accused. So far he has duped 24 people in the name of employment visa.
