Another Nirbhaya From Bihar: Women Dies After Rapist Inserts Iron Rod Into Her Private Parts

A woman (35) was brutally killed by inserting an iron rod into her private parts when she resisted a rape attempt. The gruesome incident occurred in Naubatpur in Patna district in Bihar. The incident happened on the night of October 11, but came to light on Friday.

The rapist, Dheeraj Paswan, was her neighbour and was 13 years younger. He perpetrated the abominable act when she went to relieve herself on October 11. As she resisted his advances, Paswan became wild and inserted a rod into her private parts. On listening to her shrieks, the neighbours came to her rescue. They overpowered Paswan and rushed the lady to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to the injuries.

The police also formed a SIT to conduct a probe into the incident.

In another incident, an 18-year-old woman ended her life after she was gang-raped by her friends. the girl was kidnapped from her home in Bhagalpur in Bihar and taken to a desolate place, where she was gang-raped. They left the girl in an unconscious state. The girl, on regaining consciousness, wrote a suicide note describing her ordeal. She was later found dead. A search is on for the rapists.
