Amaravati: The Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSR Congress Party will finally decide on the future of the state's new capital, Amaravati after the expert panel submits their comprehensive report over the scope and possibility of making Amaravati as the Capital for Andhra Pradesh.

Four years ago, During the former CM N Chandrababu Naidu ruling Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone for building Amaravati and Chandrababu Naidu had unveiled computer graphics of upcoming capital Amaravati.

After YSRCP was voted to power in the 2019 AP elections, YS Jagan government has taken the decision to halt the construction of Amaravati citing as there are several problems including alleged irregularities in land procurement during the Telugu Desam Party regime.

And now the official sources said that the Committee report is expected by December and the government will announce the fate of the capital by January.

Chandrababu Naidu wasted public money during his regime only for graphics and looted public money in the name of capital construction.
