UGC NET 2017 To Be Held On November 5

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made a major change in the exam schedule of UGC NET November 2017. In the latest notification, the Board has revised the exam date to November 5 from the previously announced date of November 9.

The Board will release official notification in this regard on July 24. Candidates can apply online from August 1 through the website cbsenet.nic.in. The last date for registration is August 30 and the last date for fees payment is August 31.

CBSE conducts Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor post twice in the year along with University Grants Commission (UGC). This year, the UGC skipped the test in July. Activists of Students Federation of India (SFI) staged a protest in front of University Grants Commission (UGC) headquarters for skipping the exam.

The exam will be held in 84 subjects at 90 exam centers nationwide.
