Top Chartered Accountant’s Daughter Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances

Mumbai: Pallavi Vikamsey, daughter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) president Nilesh Vikamsey was found dead on railway tracks in central Mumbai on Wednesday. The 20-year-old is a budding lawyer and went missing while returning from a law firm at Fort in south Mumbai where she was doing her internship.

When Pallavi did not return home the very day her family members filed a missing complaint with MRA Marg police station. The officials said that they found her body on the tracks between Parel and Currey station on Wednesday evening and Pallavi's relatives confirmed that it was her body on Thursday. The body was handed over to them after post-mortem.

DCP Samadhan Pawar, spokesperson of GRP said, "Prima facie it appears that the girl committed suicide. Until now, no foul play has been noticed in this case, so an accidental death case has been registered at Dadar police station."

Further probe is on to look out from other angles. Pallavi was the youngest daughter of Nilesh Vikamsey
