Shun rivalry, start cooperating, DS tells Telugu CMs

Senior Congress leader and MLC D.Srinivas advised the chief ministers of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to settle their disputes and solve power problem in Telangana.

Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad on Saturday, he said, “It would be better if both the chief ministers end their differences of opinion and opt for mutual cooperation on the issue of power production at Srisailam project.”

The MLC demanded power for Telangana from Krishna power project. He blamed that KCR government for failing to instill confidence among the farmers in the state.

“KCR is working hard to eliminate opposition in the state. Saying that he would grant funds to the constituencies only if the MLAs joined the TRS is not right," DS said.

DS said the Congress was needlessly blaming the Congress for the power problems in Telangana.
