Secrecy on 'capital' not right : Dharmana

YSRCP senior leader and former minister Dharmana Prasada Rao questioned the secrecy being maintained on the issue of the selection of capital city for Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to reporters at Visakhapatnam on Monday, he said, “We have to be careful on naming the new capital keeping in view the previous experiences.”

“People have both interest and anxiety over the choice of the capital,” said the former minister.

He said that several doubts were being raised in the minds of the people over the location of capital what with various stories circulating in the media.

“Some leaders are saying that the capital will be set up  by combining three towns and cities. Some others are saying that it will be made by combining two cities. I request the ruling party and the union government to form the capital in a transparent manner,” said Dharmana.
