Raksha Bandhan Celebrated At Praja Sankalpa Yatra

Visakhapatnam: The festival of Raksha Bandhan was celebrated at Praja Sankalpa Yatra camp in Dharabhogapuram here today. The padayatra has been taken up by Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to get a first-hand account of the problems being faced by people under the ruling TDP.

YSRCP MLA RK Roja along with many women leaders in the party visited the camp this morning and tied Rakhis to the people's leader. Later speaking to media, Roja expressed her joy for having celebrated Raksha Bandhan along with YS Jagan. She mentioned that women would be safe under the YSRCP and Rajanna Rajyam, which would be ushered in very soon. Every woman in the state was praying that YS Jagan would become the next Chief Minister, she said.

The YSRCP MLA said everyone in the state would be benefited with the Navaratnalu announced by YS Jagan. She pointed out that the YSRCP Chief was striving for the welfare of women in the state. After having celebrated Raksha Bandhan at the camp, YS Jagan started his padayatra day 246.

The Praja Sankalpa Yatra has been receiving phenomenal response from the masses who have been thronging YS Jagan's Yatra camp site and routes to pour out their woes. Besides lending a patient ear to their problems, the YSRCP chief has been highlighting the pathetic plight of citizens under the Chandrababu Naidu government. The Praja Sankalpa Yatra is currently progressing in Visakhapatnam district.
