North Easterners Safe in the city :Sabitha

Earlier in the day as scheduled the Home  Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy held a  review  meeting in the light of the exodus of people from the north east from the  twin  cities. she  assured  them that North Easterners were safe in Andhra Pradesh and that there was absolutely no reason for panic.

"The situation in the  State was very much under control," she said and added that the authorities had taken all the required security measures to ensure the safety of everyone and the north-easterners in particular. She counseled them not to fall prey to rumors and ill-founded speculation.
