India Vs Sri Lanka: Here's Why Rahul Dravid Sent Sandeep Warrier With a Chit

 - Sakshi Post

The second Twenty20 International match between India and Sri Lanka was a low-scoring but fiercely fought match. The game came down to the wire, with the Sri Lankans winning by four wickets with two balls remaining. Meanwhile, Rahul Dravid, the Indian team's head coach, was spotted handing a chit to the 12th man on the ground.

It occurred at the end of the 18th over, when rain briefly halted play with Lanka's score at 113 for six. The umpires removed the bails as the rain began to fall, and the groundsmen rushed in to cover the pitch. However, the rain stopped and the game continued with overs reduced.

However, those who watched the match were very keen to know what was the matter in the chit. The 12th man, Sandeep Warrier, was spotted with a chit during the brief pause. The data in the chit had to be connected to the Duckworth-Lewis in case the rain stopped the play. After 18 overs, the Lankans were three runs short of the target.
