Pro-Taliban Cleric and Civilians Killed in Afghanistan Mosque Blast

A high-profile pro-Taliban cleric as well as civilians were killed in a blast that took place outside the mosque in Afghanistan. "Mujib Rahman Ansari, with some of his guards and civilians, have been killed on their way toward the mosque," said Herat's police spokesperson Mahmood Rasoli. There is no information about how many casualties took place in the blast.

The Taliban say that a year ago, they have improved security in the country after they took power but there have been many blasts in recent months, some of them targeting busy mosques during prayers.
