Mahanati Shares in AP, Telangana

Looks like yesteryear actress Savitri aka Keerthy Suresh is ruling the box office with Mahanati. The film's collections are rock steady not only at the Indian box office but also across the globe. The film has received wide acclaim from the audiences and film critics. Even celebrities have showered love on the film, calling it a a perfect tribute to Savitri.

Trade circles have been abuzz with news that despite the film hitting the screen on a week day, Mahanati has crossed half a million mark in just two days. After Anushka's Bhaagamathie, Mahanati is the first women-centric film which is faring well at the box office. Audiences are spreading positive word of mouth about the film which has helped draw audience to theatres.

Keerthy Suresh is seen playing role of yesteryear actress Savitri in the film. She steals the show with her powerful performance. Savitri is likely to become another blockbuster hit of 2018. Mahanati will turn out to be her career-best performance. She was last seen in Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi but the film failed to impress the audiences. Fans have now started identifying her as Savitri instead of her original name Keerthy Suresh.
