KTR Humbly Accepts Municipal Administration Responsibility

Hyderabad: Telangana IT and Panchayati Raj minister K.T. Ramarao has accepted the responsibility of municipal administration which the chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao wanted to hand over to his son.At the election meeting in the city on Saturday, KCR announced that the ministry which is with him so far would be given to his son KTR as he mingled with Hyderabad residents and understood their problems and aspirations during the GHMC election campaign.

Responding to his father's gesture, KTR in a statement later said he would be glad to take over municipal administration ministry and it would increase his responsibility. He said he could understand the real problems of the people of Hyderabad during his interaction with various sections of society in the past three months. "I will definitely strive to resolve all their problems," KTR said.
