Kakinada city MLA quits Congress

The Congress Party has lost another wicket on Sunday when Kakinada urban MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy quit the party.
Dwarampudi along with several former MPPs, ZPTCs, councilors and corporators joined the YSRCP today.
The MLA said he resigned from the Congress party to protest against the party leadership's vindictive attitude towards YSR family.
He also said the ruling party failed in implementing the welfare schemes of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
Criticising TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, Dwarampudi said if Naidu stop his padayatras and call for a no-confidence motion in Assembly, he would support it.
