Jagan's absence not a political setback: YS Bharathi - Sakshi Post

The dismissal of Jagan Mohan Reddy's bail petition was not a setback to the party politically, YSRCP honourary president, YS Vijayamma and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's wife Bharathi told mediapersons.

Though Jagan's absence was felt, it was not a political setback to the fledgling party as people had understood the conspiracy against him, and that CBI was being used against him, they said.
Asked how they would keep up the morale of the workers, Bharathi said they were already reaching out to the people.
Vijayamma has already launched a mass-contact programme 'Rachabanda' while her daughter Sharmila is on a state-wide padayatra.
About reports of differences within the party, they said differences existed in all parties and these could be overcome.
YSRCP was sure to put up a tremendous performance in the elections as people had figured out the conspiracy against Jagan Mohan and the tacit understanding between Congress and TDP, Bharati said. Replying to a query about possible post-poll alliances, the duo said they would take decision in the best interests of the people.
YSR Congress Party on Thursday appealed its workers not to get disheartened over the Supreme Court's refusal to grant bail to its president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
As a people's party, YSRCP will continue to stand by people and fight to find solutions to various issues dogging the people.
I appeal to party leaders, cadres and the people to keep their composure and not get disheartened, the party's honorary president said in a statement.
We are ready to face the by-polls, local body polls and even the Assembly elections at any point and we are confident of winning, she said, adding that the party welcomed the Supreme Court's decision.
The apex court on Thursday dismissed Jagan's bail plea. The bench that pronounced the verdict was headed by justice P Sathasivam.
