AP Govts to shift offices to Vijayawada

Andhra Pradesh government has constituted a special committee to look after the issue of shifting key government offices from Hyderabad to Vijayawada.

The committee has three members. They are:  Principal Secretary of Finance Ajay Kallam, Principal Secretary of R&B Syambabu and Principal Secretary, Municipal Administration Sambasiva Rao.

State government has asked the committee to submit its report within 15 days.

The committee will look after the issues like suitable locations for various offices, availability of buildings, rents and other related issues.
