AP CM seeks Chinese expertise in building new capital

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu sought China's expertise in construction of state's capital Amaravati.Naidu asked a visiting Chinese business delegation to partner in construction of Chief Minister's Office and Secretariat in the upcoming capital.

The delegation under the leadership of Tang Changwel, Vice President, Guizhou Maritime Silk Road International Investment Corporation (GICC), called upon the CM on Thursday.

Naidu also sought China's participation in the development of Kakinada port and also appealed to the delegation to train students of NIIT and other technical institutions to improve their technical skills for better employment.

At the meeting, Changwel shared his team's experience in the construction of Guiyang capital city as well as in the construction of cities, roads, sports complexes, business convention centres. The Chinese team is visiting Andhra Pradesh as per an MoU the GICC had inked during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to China.
