Telangana opposition stages a walk out

Hyderabad: The Telangana opposition parties staged a walkout from the Assembly on Monday. Protesting that they did not receive appropriate answers to their questions on allocations made to welfare schemes, the Congress, BJP, TDP, CPI, CPM and YSRCP walked out of the Assembly. The government however alleged that the real reason for it was their inability to digest the good work that the government was doing.

Continuing the discussions on Telangana state budget, the house on Monday was discussing on budgetary allocations made to various welfare schemes such as house constructions. The opposition parties alleged that the government did not give them satisfactory responses when they had questioned them on allocations made to various welfare schemes.

Reacting to this, minister Harish Rao said that they were not able to digest the good work that the government was doing.
