Disheartened MRO attempts suicide, rescued by co-workers

Ananthapur: An officer who tried to commit suicide after allegations of his involvement in land disputes cropped up, was saved by his co-workers and residents on Monday.

Thimmappa who is working as an MRO of Somandepally Mandal in the district was disheartened by the allegations that spoke about his involvement in land disputes. Thimmappa there after locked himself in his office and attempted suicide. People outside the office and other officers noticed this and rushed in to rescue him by breaking open the doors.
