Telangana, Seemandhra leaders await Sonia's return - Sakshi Post

Leaders from Seemandhra including Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy are a busy lot in Delhi. They were seen holding deliberations with the Congress top panel, which was constituted to look into the grievances arising out of the decision on Telangana.

A K Antony, Veerappa Moily, Digvijay Singh and Ahmed Patel are the members of the Committee, appointed by Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

Sonia Gandhi appointed a panel of four members when Samaikyandhra agitation took a serious turn following the CWC decision to divide the state to address the grievances of the Seemandhra people. This was also an attempt by the Congress High Command to convince the Seemandhra people.

The committee has held a series of discussions with the Seemandhra leaders on the issues. But who do they finally report to? Sonia Gandhi of course! However, it's worth mentioning here that Sonia Gandhi is in the US for medical check up and it will take some time for her to return.

According to several media reports and sources, the Antony Committee will decide if it's necessary to make a trip to Seemandhra to take stock of the situation only after Sonia Gandhi comes back.

Samaikyandhra agitations will continue, Seemandhra leaders' meeting with Antony Committee will continue, Telangana leader' meeting with Congress High Command to speed up the process will continue...However, all decisions will be on pending as the final call will be taken only by the AICC chief.
