Rahul Gandhi urged to resolve Telangana issue: CM

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy said that AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi has been requested to take early decision on Telangana issue and informed him that they were ready to welcome any decision on it.

Talking to media persons in New Delhi, Kiran Kumar Reddy said Rahul was briefed about the urgency of taking an early decision on most sensitive and complicated issue of Telangana.
The CM said Rahul Gandhi advised measures to take the government schemes to the people. Setting aside the migrations from Congress party to YSRCP, Kiran said if leaders went out, new leaders would join and the party would suffer nothing.
The CM said Rahul Gandhi was urged to allocate KG basin gas for power generation and the cost of power would come down if gas was given from D6.
