Producer in the dock for assaulting lady doc

Controversial movie producer C Kalyan is back to the headlines, for the wrong reasons of course!  

He has been accused of assaulting a lady doctor identified as Dr Kavitha..

According to a complaint filed by the doctor herself, she had deposited Rs 1.14 crore with the apartments in the Road No 5 of Jubilee Hills towards the compensation amount paid by the Metro Rail. However, Kalyan, who resides in the same apartments, opened a separate account for the amount without informing anyone. When asked, he abused the lady doctor and had even assaulted her.

The doctor approached the police on Monday night and lodged a complaint with the police. The police booked a case against C Kalyan under sections 506, 509 and 245 of the Indian Penal Code.
