Probe ordered into Vizag Navy helicopter crash

The Eastern Naval Command ordered for an inquiry into the crashing of Chetak-440 helicopter.

The Eastern Naval authorities, who confirmed the crash at 3.30 pm, said the helicopter flew from INA Dega at 2 pm. The helicopter crashed in the sea waters 10 nautical miles off Dolphin Nose. Two Navy personnel were feared killed and two others were rescued and they were admitted to Kalyani Hospital, Navy sources said. Combing for the missing personnel was launched in the sea. Technical snag is said to be the reason for the crash.
