Power strike intensified, cuts imposed at several places

Electricity employees in the state, who are on flash strike, have decided against ending their strike. The strike has been intensified. With this, the production in various power plants in the state was stopped.

About 4,500 MW of power production has to be stopped.

The effect of the ongoing strike has fallen on Paloncha, Bhupalapalli and Srisailam power plants.

The strike of AP Genco employees has been intensified in North Andhra region.

Power cuts have to be implemented at some villages and towns in the state as power production was not possible at several power plants in the state.

The management has invited the agitating employees for talks on Monday morning.
