Mumbai Under-construction Flyover Collapse, 14 Hurt

A portion of the under-construction flyover got collapsed in Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai, on Friday. More than 14 people got injured in this incident and they are immediately rushed to the VN Desai Hospital. Doctors stated them all the injured are in stable condition.

Control Cell of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation said that the police and fire department officials reached the spot and are carrying out the rescue operation. Reports claim that the accident happened around 4.40 AM at the under-construction flyover which connects the BKC main road to Santa Cruz-Chembur Link Road.

DCP Manjunath Singe said that there are no casualties reported and no person is found missing. The disaster management cell told media that the construction work is being undertaken by the Mumbai MetropolitanRegion Development Authority (MMRDA).

The police registered a case against the incident and are investigating the reason for the collapse. The details of the injured include Anil Singh, Arvind Singh, Azar Ali, Mustaf Ali, Riyazuddin, Motlab Ali, Riyaz Ali, Shravan, Atish Ali, Rlis Ali, Aziz Ul Huq, Parvez, Akbar Ali, Shrimand.
