Check Out New Andhra CS Sameer Sharma's Rich Work Experience

Andhra Pradesh government has got its new Chief Secretary. Sameer Sharma, a 1985- batch IAS officer was appointed in the place of Aditya Nath Das whose tenure is going to end on September 30. Against this backdrop, a government order was issued by Mutyala Raju, principal secretary and additional secretary to CM YS Jagan.

Sameer Sharma is currently working as the special chief secretary in the State planning department of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. He had earlier been the Municipal Commissioner of Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Hyderabad.

Besides this, Sharma was the Managing Director of India Tourism Development Corporation and earlier Director General and CEO of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs. Earlier, he also worked as the consultant for the UN-Habitat in Cambodia and the International Federation of Red Cross Societies.

In the span of 37 years of his career, Sharma served various positions at the State, national and international levels.
