"MLA Kanna Babu involved in land grab"

Congress MLA Yelamanchili Kanna Babu once challenged that he would give his entire property to the person who proved that his properties were earned illegally.

Now some government officials from his native place have alleged that he has earned some of his properties illegally. They also accused him for land grabbing.

There are cases pending in the court against Kanna Babu on his disproportionate assets.  And problems seem to be multiplying for him.

This time the Land Survey Department has come out with an official statement  saying that there were illegal transactions in the allotment of plots in the Srinivasa Co-operative  Housing Society of Visakhapatnam. They alleged that Kanna Babu was involved in  land grabbing of  Simhachalam Temple lands and also started constructing a house there.

A few months ago the ACB had registered a case of disproportionate assets against  Kanna Babur along with his wife Rama Devi and son Sukumar Varma. Recently, the ACB had raided the office, house at his native place and his residences in Visakhapatnam and Elamanchili.
