Lovers commit suicide in Khammam

Two dejected lovers committed suicide at Chillagumpu of Dammapeta in Khammam district on Saturday evening.

According to reports, Madhu (25) and Veera Naghulu (18), both natives of Dammapeta village, were in love for a long time and allegedly committed suicide by consuming pesticides on the outskirts of Chillagumpu.

The family members of Veera Nagulu refused to let her marry Madhu and reportedly married her off to another person, following which they committed suicide yesterday night. Dammapeta  police registered a case and are investigating.
