Lawyer-turned-thief lands behnd bars

Though a lawyer, he chose to resort to stealing  to get easy money.

He has even hired a gang of four and had committed several thefts. However, the long arm of law had finally caught up with him and he is now cooling his heals behind the bars.

Nagaraju, a lawyer belonging to Atlapragada Konda in Krishna district, found being a theif was more remunerative and began committing thefts - sometimes personally and many times in association with a gang of four thieves.

He was jailed many times and has managed to escape from the prison at least twice. Finally, he is in the custory of Rajahmundry police. His gang members too are behind the bars.

The police recovered cash of Rs 15 lakh and a laptop from him.
