Governor nod for prosecution of liquor scam accused

Governor E.S.L.Narasimhan sanctioned permission for the prosecution of 34 officials accused in the infamous liquor syndicate case.

Office of the Governor issued the necessary orders for the same. Earlier, cases were registered against 180 officials in the liquor scam, however, the case was pushed under the carpet and the police officials investigating the case were shunted out.

The Governor took the initiative and sanctioned the prosecution of about 34 officials in the first phase.
