IMG Bharata land deal case adjourned by 2 weeks

A division bench of the High Court on Monday adjourned by two weeks a writ petition filed by senior journalist ABK Prasad and auditor V Vijay Sai Reddy seeking a CBI probe into the land allotment to

IMG Bharata Academies Pvt Limited by the then Telugu Desam government headed by Chandrababu Naidu.

Both of them had filed a petition seeking a CBI probe into the allotment of land to IMG Bharata by the TDP government in 2003. In the petition, they mentioned that the TDP government handed over nearly 900 acres of prime government land in Hyderabad to the said organisation at low prices and  leaders of TDP were beneficiaries of those land allotments.
