BJP Condemns Ban Order On Swami

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president Dr K Laxman today condemned the externment of a spiritual leader, Swami Paripoornanada from the city for six months for allegedly making provocative speeches targeting other communities and their leaders. Speaking to media here today, he said this was a government conspiracy to snub the promotion of Hindu religion. He pointed out that while people who made derogatory remarks on Lord Rama, whom crores of people pray, go scot-free, those who try to safeguard Hindu dharma are being harassed by the government. "It is not fair to house arrest and now extern him from entering the city for six months," he said.

The BJP leader called upon the government officials and police to reconsider the ban orders on Swami Paripoornanada. He demanded the government to take action against AIMIM leaders who have been insulting Hindu Gods. He demanded that the government should immediately withdraw all the cases filed against Swami. The action of the government only pointed out that we are living in a dictatorship.

He further said that the days of the TRS government are numbered. By denying basic rights provided by the Constitution to the citizens, the TRS government was digging its own grave. People will teach a proper lesson to chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his government. The ban orders on Swami Paripoornanada should be withdrawn immediately and the Swami should be brought back to city, he added.
