Hijra creates a scene at wine shop in Hyd

Hijra menace is making life a hell for traders and even commuters. Hijras resorting to strong-arm tactics to extort have become common.

In the latest of incidents of Hijra excess, some eunuch went to a wine shop and demanded Rs 1100 from the owner. The hijra even threatened to go nude if the amount was not paid. 

Harried shop owner paid Rs 500, but the eunuch did not relent. Even the police, who were called in, remained helpless spectators as the hijra squatted in front of the shop.
When the reports last came in, the hijra was still squatting in front of the wine shop.
