Drought, fund crunch no bother for Babu, to buy Rs 10 cr bus
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will soon have an air-conditioned and bullet proof bus specially designed by a reputed automobile designer.
The swank vehicle will cost Rs 10 crore.
The specially designed bus which will have all modern facilities will be used during Chandrababu's tours in districts.
According to sources, the Finance department is expected to issue an order releasing the required amount for purchasing the bus. The bus per se costs Rs 90 lakh and bullet proofing would cost around Rs 10 crore.
Chandrababu has already spent Rs 10 crore to refurbish his temporary chambers in the secretariat. The adornment of the chamber will be completed in the second week of September.
The TDP leaders also estimate that Rs 3 to 4 crore would be spent for celebrating Independence Day in Kunrool.
Babu's spending spree during the times of fund crunch, power outages, drought-like conditions and a doomed farming seasons in the state is drawing alround criticism.
