Cyberabad IT zone to have all-woman police station: KTR

Hyderabad: Telangana government will set up an all-woman police station in IT zone in Cyberabad area of the city next week, state IT Minister K T Rama Rao said here on Thursday.

Addressing a Nasscom meeting here, Rao said that the state government is making all efforts to promote Hyderabad as an attractive investment destination and to ensure that the city is safe for women.

More steps for safety of women would be taken after the report of the task force appointed for the purpose submits its report, he said, adding that the TRS government, headed by K Chandrasekhara Rao, will be investor-friendly.
