'BJP only responsible for 1,100 suicides'

Congress party on Tuesday retaliated for the allegations of BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi over the bifurcation of the state.

It is reminded Modi said that Telangana state could be a reality only with the sacrifices of about 1,100 persons. BJP even said that these persons had to commit suicides as Congress party delayed the formation of the new state.

Former PCC president D.Srinivas blasted BJP for getting votes with the formation of three new states when it was in power. “It is the BJP which started the convention of doing vote bank politics with the formation of new states,” commented the senior Congress leader.

“BJP did nothing for Telangana when it was in power. If BJP granted Telangana then itself, 1,100 persons should not have died,” said Srinivas.
