Adilabad: Four dead, five Injured in Jeep-Lorry Collision

Four persons were killed and five others injured in a head-on collision between a jeep and a lorry near Manchiryala in Adilabad district on Sunday.
According to police, those traveling in the jeep were residents of Ongole in Prakasam District. They were returning from a marriage function in Bellampalli.
The accident took place when a lorry plying from Manchiryala rammed into the jeep that was proceeding to Bellampalli. All the four victims died on the spot. The injured were admitted to a private hospital in Manchiryala.
