38 hurt as bus overturns

At least 38 bus passengers were injured after the private bus in which they were overturned near Panyam of Kurnool district on Monday morning.

According to reports, the bus was on its way from Hyderabad to Mahanandi when the accident occurred. The bus driver tried to avoid a boulder on the road and lost control due to which the vehicle overturned.

Four of the injured passengers are stated to be critical. They were referred to a hospital in Hyderabad for better treatment, while others were admitted as in-patients at a nearby hospital.
