3 killed in road accident in visakhapatnam

Three persons were killed after a speeding truck ran into a stationary lorry on the national highway near Anandapuram on the outskirts of the city on Tuesday, police said.

The truck was heading towards Visakhpatnam from Srikakulam when it bumped into the stationary vehicle from the back, killing two people on the spot.

One person, who had sustained injuries in the incident later died during treatment at a hospital. The bodies were sent for post-mortem, police said.
