Yet Another Driver Dies On Steering Wheel, This Time On Busy Narayanaguda Bridge

Hyderabad: In an alarming phenomenon of RTC drivers dying while driving their vehicles, a local bus driver died of fits while on the steering wheel on busy Narayanaguda bridge on Friday morning. A major mishap could have happened but for the bus was in a stationary position at the end of the bridge as the traffic signal was on red at Bhanglingampally junction.

Rasool collapsed on the steering wheel and died in minutes before the conductor and passengers noticed him and came to his rescue.

Another driver Saidulu working with Khammam depot also died on the steering wheel near Nakirekal while driving a bus from Khammam to Hyderabad on Sunday. He suffered heart attack and collapsed on the steering wheel after stopping the bus safely off the highway. Two other similar incidents were reported in the past few months.
