With MIM pullout change of guard in state imminent - Sakshi Post

The guessing game on changing the state leadership has intensified with the  MIM withdrawing support to the Congress government on Monday.

Several rumors are doing the rounds in the political circles as MIM party president Asaduddin Owaisi  had squarely blamed Kiran Kumar Reddy  for neglecting the interests of the minorities and  supporting the 'Sangh Parivar ' in a covert manner.

MIM has reportedly sent a letter containing 20 pages wherein it has stated all the resons for withdrawing support to the Congress both in state and in the Centre.  Going by the press conference of MIM today, it can be understood that the letter contains details of all the actions of  Kiran Kumar Reddy that have 'hurt' the party and minority interests.

The MIM  has openly said that the party is compelled to take the decision due to the 'communal' behaviour of the Kiran Kumar Reddy government. Analysts feel that the Chief Minister should  have been cautious of his rivals activities who got a chance to campaign against him in the Center.  For some time now anti-CM groups, have been actively propagating their view point as the confirmed decision of the high command that Kiran would be replaced. Even Peddireddy a former minister and arch rival of Kiran Kumar Reddy from Chitoor had given an ultimatum to the party high command to replace the CM by the end of November.

In another significant development, Congress MPs from Telangana region are planning to write a letter to the High Command demanding an immediate assurance on a separate state.

To pacify MIM and to divert attention from the Telangana issue, the Congress High command will this time seriously and surely work out a plan to have a smooth revamp of leadership in  the state, analysts observed.

Even, the Congress High Command had many times previously given a signal that there will be a change in the top leadership..

Several leaders of Congress party including PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana were seen saying that there is no immediate threat to the Congress party with MIM's breaking ties with it. They categorically said that there will be a big setback in the 2014 general elections.

With all these rapid developments,  it looks like Congress has no option other than changing of the guard, leaders observed.
