Why Rajanarasimha develops grudge against Kiran? - Sakshi Post

Deputy Chief Minister Damodara Rajanarasimha is seen indifferent towards Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of late.

A question is being raised in everyone’s mind in Congress party why the deputy chief minister changed his attitude all of a sudden against the CM. What prompted Rajanarasimha to develop such a stew against Kiran? They are sequel of incidents for widening gap between the two top leaders of the State.
Rajanarasimha had resentment against Kiran Kumar Reddy as he felt that he was not being given priority even in the status of deputy chief minister. Differences had been settled some time back after Kiran made him happy by giving nominated posts more than what Rajanarasimha expected. Rajanarasimha had developed a feeling over a period that he was not in the right post as he (his men) desired. The Congress high command had created a deputy Chief Minister post in a bid to suppress the Telangana movement when it was at its peak.
Rajanarasimha slowly realized that it was not at all a significant position as expected by him and his supporters. When his supporters prompted him to do something to get a better position, Rajanarasimha rushed to Delhi and met AICC secretary and in-charge of AP affairs Gulam Nabi Azad. He put a proposal before him that he wanted home ministry. Azad promised him the post provided Sabitha Indra Reddy quit the post after her name was appeared in the CBI charge-sheet. In turn, Azad made this proposal (recommending Rajanarasimha for Home Minister post) to Kiran Kumar Reddy.
But, Kiran is believed to be against the Azad’s proposal and on the other hand he tried to retain Sabitha in the same post even after she was inducted in the charge-sheet. If circumstances led to resignation of Sabitha, Kiran proposed the name of Sridhar Babu as Home Minister. On knowing Delhi developments and Kiran’s game of politics from his Delhi sources, Rajanarasimha is up in the arms against the CM. Kiran’s emissary Anam Vivekananda Reddy tried his level best to convince Rajanarasimha. But Rajanarasimha did not yield and started keeping himself aloof from Kiran Kumar Reddy. Anam along with four other ministers made a vain bid to appease Rajanarasimha at CM’s camp office. CM himself requested Rajanarasimha to accompany him for the launch of “Indiramma kalalu” scheduled in latter’s home district Medak on Monday.
In a bid to avoid CM’s pressure tactics, Rajanarasimha on Sunday flown to Hong Kong on a three-day sojourn one day ahead of CM’s meeting in Medak. Earlier, he had also skipped an important meeting on SC, ST sub-plan in which Chief Minister was presented.  Rajanarasimha reportedly argued before his supporters that when Azad had himself given a green-signal for giving him Home Ministry, why Kiran Kumar Reddy should say no. However, his supporters said that it was pre-scheduled programme. The rift between the CM and the Deputy CM may further widen after the return of Rajanarasimha from foreign trip. Rajanarasimha’s silent fight may yield result because he was a Telanganite and also belongs to SC community. Any extreme step by Rajanarasimha may boomerang Kiran’s tricks.
