'We lost due to alliance with the TDP'

Senior BJP leaders from Telangana have opined that they had lost in the elections only due to the alliances with other parties.

The state executive of the party met in Hyderabad on Monday to review the election results. 

Speaking on the occasion, BJP state president Kishan Reddy said that they could not maximise the dividents from a surging Narendra Modi wave.

He exuded confidence that BJP would win from Medak parliamentary constituency in the bye election.

BJP general secretary T.Achari said that BJP lost in Telangana due to an alliance with TDP. “There were some errors in seat adjustments. Delay in the finalization of candidates is also one of the reasons for our defeat,” said Achari.
