Vijayawada's foundry unit makes guns for Maoists

Is this non-descript foundry in Vijayawada's autonagar making guns for the Maoists? A surprise raid on Lakshmi Durga Engineering Works showed up large number of cartridges, bullets and other material involved in gun-making.

This is the first ever incident of gun-making in Andhra Pradesh. till now, guns are being usually procured from places like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. This development has shocked the police.
The police arrested a student studying BTech from West Godvari's district headquarters town of Eluru. This youth, identified as Sharat Reddy, was found to be involved in gun-running for the Maoists. On questioning him, the police came to know about the foundry unit in Autongar. The foundry unit purchased springs needed to make the guns from Vijayawada's Madhuranagar.
The police have taken the foundry unit workers into custody and are investigating.
