Venkaiah Naidu lashes out at CM over power crisis - Sakshi Post

BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday criticised Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for lacking vision over the impending power crisis in the State.

He asked what steps the Kiran government had taken to prevent power crisis. Everybody knew well that there would be water shortage during summer and gas scarcity for power generation, but Kiran was careless about the people. It was like digging a well when it was thirst, Venkaiah Naidu said the government was thinking of making huge promises giving freebees to get votes.

Referring to Kiran Govt’s free essential commodities offer, Venkaiah Naidu said water, power and transport were all essential for the people. The BJP senior leader came down heavily on the hike in registration charges.  The registration department came into being for recording property transactions, but the government was making it as a money-generating zone and increased registration fee by 400 per cent fleecing money from the people, Venkaiah Naidu lamented.
