Valentine's Day is when you reinforce your bonds with the love of your life. But, have you seen someone losing his or her love of life on that very day?

To see that you have to go to Venkatapalem of Tullur in the proposed Andhra Pradesh capital area.
The farmers of that mandal will be losing their most loved thing - the land to the proposed AP Capital. February 14, the Valentine's Day is the deadline to complete the land-pooling process.
The Government had initiated the land pooling process on January 4 and had given 30 days time for the farmers to give their consent.
Several farmers of Venkatapalem began relay hunger strike protesting against the land-pooling process fromTuesday. Interestingly, most of the protesting farmers were the staunch supporters of the TDP. They staged the strike at the NTR statue holding the TDP flags.
