Ugly scenes in Nandyal civic body meet

Three persons were injured when TDP members clashed with other councillors at the Nandyal municipal council meeting on Friday afternoon.
Trouble started when the YSRCP councilors objected to passing several resolutions without any discussions.
This led war of words between the YSRCP and the TDP members resulting in clash. In the clash, three persons, including a YSRCP activist, were injured. The TDP members hurled chairs at the YSRCP members and Nandyal MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy's gunman suffered minor injuries.
The YSRCP members alleged that the Council chairman has not considered their appeals. The police rushed to the spot and resorted to mild lathicharge to bring the situation under control.
