Two youths drown in River Krishna

Two persons, including an engineering student, drowned in Krishna river at Kasarabad of Chandarlapadu in Krishna district on Friday.

According to reports, they drowned while taking bath.
An engineering student, Phani and an income tax department employee Praveen ventured into the river for swimming but were drowned when their legs struck in mud at river bottom, reports said. Their bodies were fished out by rescue teams later.
The village plunged into sorrow on hearing the tragic incident.
